Flashback is one of my favorite games of all time, and this remake certainly does it justice, preserving the original gameplay with changes here and there to make it more intuitive to modern gamers. I love the extended cutscenes, fleshed out music, and revamped sound effects (in stereo!), and I can't get over how smooth the gameplay is compared to the original versions. The default controls are difficult though; I was somehwat better after unchecking "touch mode". No external ๐ŸŽฎ support โ˜น๏ธ

FINALLY!!! THANK YOU!! i have every version of this game. this one is a great addition to my collection and to the roster of flashback iterations. i was afraid the mobile version would not be a good version. my expectations are met and surpassed. enough changes are made to bring a new life to this classic, which has aged extremely well. it is time for a sequel to this great game. and no, im not counting FTB as a sequel. Please make a sequel just like this first one, only with new puzzles.

Warning: if you click save slot before progress is shown you lose it all and have to restart. Default controls feel broken - swipes often don't register so can't be used in hectic situations. Alternative controls work okay, after getting used to them, though analog stick makes no sense. No option for directional buttons. Life regens when option disabled. Timer in a rush missions is broken. Graphics options (bloom etc) are great. New sound/music is sometimes worse than original 8bit sounds.
